JOURNAL OF TRANSPERSONAL RESEARCH REQUEST

Calcutta, 11th of November, 2011

Dear board of EUROTAS,

I want to thank you the place you gave to me and the Journal of Transpersonal Research (JTR) in the last Conference in Varna. I would have liked to talk more about it, but I felt there was no time in the initial meeting we had.

I want to thank you also the mention John Drew and Erich Meier have done to the JTR in the last Newsletter, so now everybody is aware of it in order to submit articles and maintain the journal alive. ...

... Apart of this, I want to communicate that since 2007 I and other professionals are working for free with the JTR. But this has become unsustainable after five years, so we are looking for funding to maintain the journal alive. We like the on-line free access, and we want to keep it as far as we can, so it is not needed to pay any subscription yet but we want to implement a funding resource through the announcement of different transpersonal associations and institutions in the web of the journal as well as being opened to donations. After a year, if we get enough funding through this, the journal will continue being free, otherwise we will study other options.

Transpersonal Research Another new is that late December the Volume 3 of the JTR will be published. We are sorry that this issue will have very few articles in English in comparison with the last ones, because we didn’t receive enough articles in English this time. So I encourage you to announce your colleagues we are needed of papers to publish the next volume in 2012.

Looking forward to your answer for the Link Request.

Sincerely yours,
Roman Gonzalvo
