Following my recent visit to Moldava I have met some transpersonal friends, its a lovely country, friendly people, but also a very poor country that is undergoing a major indentity and spiritual crisis.
We have decided to set up aqn educational committee as a follow up on Tana's idea of the council of elders.
Apart from setting up transpersonal schools in different countries which we have already started, with and without the support of the local transpersoanl associations, we intend to introduce transpersonal views and values to schools and other educational instittions as well as to the business sector, medicine, culture and politics.
WE have started the ball rolling as we like to be doing things rather then discussing them in long meetings without any practical results.
So if you want to join our innitiative and be part of it, please let us know.
Our fellow human beings are undergoing a socio-economic and political crisis and it is time to do something about it, apart from talking and discussing.
We have decided to get out of our spiritual cave and take action.

suggestions for delegates meeting in Milan:

1. Overview of all transpersonal national organisation, what has been done on a national level in each countries, what is the plan for next year. which association needs support or guidance to keep things going?

2. council of elders, was a brilliant idea, but as it was too vague it just dissapeared into oblivion, lets call it the education committee, in my view the focus of the transpersonal movement is supposed to be education, and this need to be encouraged and supported n each country

3. to have a list of transpersonal presenters who are ready to travel, and teach, share their experiences, some countries do not have the means to pay huge amount of money, so it will be useful to mention if those presenters are willing to work on a sliding scale.

4. the eurotas forum. to encourage all members to join the forum and make it as a place of sharing ideas and having discussions. I have noticed that some presidents of transpersonal associations have not even registered to the forum, as part of our responsibility t make the association active, we need not only to be active in the forum but encourage our members to participate in it.

I have enjoyed reading Eurotas forum and I'm happy that it is open to everybody.

Jure is urging us to activity, and he himself can be an example in this respect. In my opinion, Jure has done very much: he brings interesting lecturers to teach us in his school in Estonia. The latest guest was Judith Hendin, open-minded and powerful therapist, and of course there have been John Rowan and others, too. There were successful events introducing transpersonal idea when Vitor Rodrigues was in Estonia. In one occasion, Vitor presented together with Estonian most acknowledged lecturer Mare Pork.

Jure very generously praises others, but steps back when talks of himself. On behalf of his students, I can say that he is exceptional teacher, having "the seventh sense" of listening and giving a hand when needed. He doesn't define the concept of transpersonal, but those who know him learn it from the things he says and does. No one wants to miss any of his classes or seminars. Jure is currently running 4 three year courses in Estonia and teaching personally 3 days a month each. There are about 40 students in each course and everybody is spreading the idea further. This must have real impact on our society, for sure.

This year summer seminar will take place on July 29th - August 2nd in Kääriku, Estonia. International participants are warm-heartedly welcome, Jure's students from England come year after year! Among other things, you will enjoy unique and very clear worldview that Jure presents!
